community outreach
Our community extends beyond the doors and neighborhood of the church building itself, out into the surrounding city, and even, around the world. Whether collecting mites for international missions or serving food to those in need right here at home, we love to serve together - sharing the love from Him to first loved us.
Below, you will find some of the regular opportunities available at Lamb of God for community service.
Hygiene Kit Ministry
Help us reflect Christ's love and character by providing encouragement, hope, and essential personal care products to people in need within our community! Every month we’ll collect a different set of items. Donations may be dropped off in the collection bin next to the front office. Donated items will be placed in Hygiene Kits during Serve the 702 community service days or delivered to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. The items we are collecting and when are listed below:
January & February : deodorant
March & April : travel size bottles shaving cream
May : razors
June : travel size bottles of shampoo
July : travel size bottles of conditioner
August : washcloths
September : toothbrushes
October : toothpaste
November : sunscreen
December : bars of soap
Thank you for reflecting Christ’s love and character to people in need within our community!
Food Pantry
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat...then the righteous will answer Him, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you? The King will reply, "I tell you the truth whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:35-40.
Lamb of God Church & School is sensitive to what has happened in our community with the state of our economy. We recognized there was a need for a food pantry in our area of town. Lamb of God is happy to help all who grace our doors!
